Hi all
New to this land rover game, but enjoying it all the same, however my 55 plate freelander td4 hse auto has now developed an infuriating problem of deciding when it locks and unlocks itself, if the car is open and I close the door it locks the full car of its own accord without the keys or fob being used, (bit of a bummer when you have laft the keys in the ignition)when driving the car the locks click, and constantly wants to lock itself
I have only had the car for two weeks:(
is this a common fault, can it be reset or is back to Stratstone with it.
I have tried the inertia switch under the bonnet , but it is ok.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Colin

Hello guys hope someone can help me with my central locking problem.
Just recentely got a 2001 Y plate Freelander and yesterday whilst i had the front drivers door and the off side passengers door open [lifting up shopping bags] i accidently pressed the central locking switch on the key FOB which was being held in my hand.
The result now is the central locking wont work at all now and the rear door is locked all the time.
I have gone through twice the checks to do in the owners manual but still does not work, even replaced battery in the key FOB but still nothing.
Any help please before i end up taking it in to the garage and no doubt get ripped off.

Thanks.
