my girlfriend has just purchased a 6 disk cd changer for me for Xmas to fit under the passenger seat
the changer is made by Alpine. i am assured by landrover that this is the correct cd changer to fit in my vehicle and also the correct cd change to fit the head unit ( C42) .
unfortunately i cant find the wiring harness to plug the unit into anywhere in the car .
it isn't under the seat, the carpet or behind the radio.
have since been told by Landrover that some vehicles had the lead fitted and some didnt ????????? trust me to get one without !!!!
landrover cant find the correct lead on their microfiche ( having ordered and recieved all 4 listed ) varying from £20 upto £80
have tried alpine dealers to get this lead, only to be told that they dont have and can't get the lead as the changer is made by alpine, but specially made for rover and can only get it from them.

can anyone please help ?????

sorry for the first post of mine being a long one, but am going round in circles and getting no-where slowly
