hi folks can some one please help me brought a y reg 2001 freelander
that had steel wheels on so went and brought me a set of 5 alloys for £100,
but has i put one on the front i noticed it was realy close to the caliper
is there a difference in freelander alloys because i thought they would all fit.
had on 15" and put 15" rims back on tyres are same size i took off

pleasehelp has i`m puzzled has why they don`t fit thnx:mad:

stick up a pic of the alloy , someone will then tell you if it looks like a genuine freelander one.... how close is close does it actually touch the caliper as it rotates.

theres always the possibility youve got a set of aftermarket wheels that dont actually fit... where did you get them from?

or the fact that early model freelander wheels don't fit later model freelander due to a differing offset which causes interference on the front caliper....:doh:

brought them from scrap yard came of a X reg freelander the wheels are realy close to the caliper only about 2mm gap also the wheels on the back fit flush to the drum so i guess lesson learned..i will just keep looking for some alloys that will fit thnx m8
