I have I am topping up my rad reservoir somewhat monthly. Have been using just water wasn't sure what to throw in it. Any advice. Thanks.
I had a Discovery like that, what ever was to hand went in - if that meant water out of a rut mixed with cow **** - then so be it.
However, I had given up ever trying to fix that pile of junk after spending $1,000's. Your question should really be about how to stop the leak.
Look for tiny cracks around the coolant tank top face. That's a common place for slow coolant loss, without any obvious leaksI don't see any leaks. It has been incredibly hot the past Month though. Will look on the floor in the morning otherwise I think it maybe just overheating. Thanks for the reply and no cows round here either :/

When I replaced my expansion tank, I didn't bleed it and all is well.
