In short no.

But

The Freelander 1 Sport came with 18" wheels and 235/50/R18 tyres.

Short answer is no. Long answer is much the same unfortunately.

Thank you both for a quick response to my question I very nearly bought some the other day even before I got the FL  lucky escape by the looks of it, almost the same wheels as above but 18" 235/60/118 thinking they would fit because the FL is already sitting on 17" cheers Arctic2

235/60/18 is a very big tyre. You'd need loads of mods to get them on a FL1. I've got 255/55/18 which is only a smidge bigger and I need 2" lift, bigger offset wheels and trimmed arches not to mention a bit of hammering.

Thank's for the reply I don't fancy doing all that work just to have a bigger wheel, therefore will stick with the 17" which I think are 235/65/17 will know for certain tomorrow as had the phone call it's ready to pick up :D Arctic2

They won't be if they're standard tyres, 235/65/17 is the freelander 2 standard tyre size

Std size is 225/55R17
Or 215/65R16
Or 235/50R18
(Or 195/80R15 I think)

Thank you both/all for your great information, sorry I don't know your names as I see most members do not have their names in the about me.

On the R75 forum 95% do and we know whom we are then addressing, anyways

These below would of been no use to me then, I am looking to get some spares wheels for FL so I can get the originals ones refurbished, and also have a spare set if I ever needed them.;)

Unless I've misunderstood the question, they won't fit regardless of size as the FL2 has a completely different bolt pattern to the FL1?

exactly, stop looking at freelander 2 wheels, they won't fit, irrespective of size, that's not the issue, it's one of pcd.

Do not buy these.

You need Freelander 1 wheels.

Or jeep wheels (see separate thread)
