Hi anyone no where this vaccuum pipe goes on freelander 2 gs td4 2009 auto its on front right and looks like it leads to back somewhere but we dont know where and had to mechanic and he doesnt know where its surpose to lead to

In the first pic there is a place where it could clip to, maybe a vent for a vacuum pump, high up so it doesn't fill with water when wading through streams.

It's the vacuum for the swirl flap actuator, which is on the left of the inlet manifold.

Not needed if the flaps have been removed, but still best to attach it in place, it looks like someone as added a T piece to your car though?
