hi all I have a Freelander 2 2011 2.2
When the car is ticking over an any load is put on to the battery eg turn steering wheel use electric windows the revs drop a lot then bounce back has anyone got any ideas

Monitoring the battery volts to see whats happening would be the best place ter start. But ask int Freelander section as above.

Hi have tested battery standing 12.1 volts when running 14.5 but fluctuates when heater on full an turn steering to 13.9 to 14.2 an that’s when the revs drop

Those value look good. The volts will drop a bit when the system is loaded with more electrical items. I was concerned it may drop too low. I will look out for yer fred in the Freelander section.
