Every now and again my fl2 rumbles a bit, and sometimes it feels like I've lost all pressure out of a tyre, like I'm running on a rim, then it goes away after 3 or 4 minutes. It's baffling me, any ideas guys

Everything I think of, I rule out 2 minutes later cos it can't be that!
So check wheel bearings, drive shafts, rear brakes for loose components.
Not at all sure on the Haldex system, so can't say.

I'm just not sure, last week it did it on a long straight road and the time before, about 2 months ago, I was on a long straight section of the M62. I had convinced myself it wasn't the haldex as there was no steering input at the time, but i am doubting myself. I have no juddering pulling away , it just starts out of the blue at speed. The juddering I describe as the lumpy ride you get when you have a flat or almost flat tyre.

If its so bad when it occurs, but doesn't do it all the time, I don't suppose its something mechanical - like bearings etc. Sounds like an engine misfire or something - is it diesel or petrol? Have you had the diagnostic codes read by a good reader? (eg from a main dealer). Having said that my suspicion is the engine, have the fluids in the Haldex or box (is it auto?) been changed? What age/mileage is the car?

I'm not sure when/if the fluid in the Haldex should be changed - but I'm sure it has cured problems on here for people.

It's diesel but it's not missing, it's running fine and I can knock it into neutral (manual) and it still does it. It's a 57 plate and well serviced with 115000 miles. No codes.

Is it a particularly loud ruling? When me dad's went it was a low drone, which got louder with time but nothing very alarming
