Has anybody done this to the 2.2 engine and how big a difference does it make? Thinking about it but want reassuring!

I remapped the wife's 2.2 Freelander.

Currently running 185bhp, with a healthy chunk of extra mid range torque.

Makes a huge difference to the driveability of the car, less lag, better economy, and much more
3rd gear pulls like an absolute train

I haven't Remapped my FL2 yet but I did get my 1.9 diesel golf done by a company called AMD and the difference was amazing it was so much better to drive, in time and cash the freelander will be next.
