Don't bother, they don't work. This is the FL1 version, I can't imagine the 2 would be any better.
General advice is to track down a second hand unit.
Been there done that, save your cash.

Thanks Skinny Mike, but at over £200 for a new and £100 for a second hand which may be soon to die I'd be happier replacing the inner gears if I can. I might take it apart and maybe knock something up on the lathe, or just remove the workings and sod it. The trouble at present is that if the motor doesn't catch the gear it just sits there and turns endlessly. One day it will catch me out and flatten my battery.
 
Biggest problem is the kits are 3rd party and a best guess.
So the FL1 kit is also for early BMW X5 and a few other models. So the gears when fitted won't turn as they are just slightly out.
Even after a gentle file and then a more vigorous attack with a Dremel, they just wouldn't turn.
So try and do it yourself and keep your eye open for a bargain mirror.
