Hi all
I've had a good search, might be me but can't find a thread that lists or provides details and specifications of the fluids required for a Freelander 2 TD4/SD4. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or perhaps list here for the following, and we get a thread covering all required;

1. Engine oil (I know this, it's obvious, but maybe not to all)

2. Auto gear box oil

3. Front differential oil

4. Read differential oil

5. Haldex oil

6. Power steering fluid

7. Any others?

Also, something that rates ease of DIY mechanics or requires expert / pro mechanics to change.
I'd guess this would also cover the Evoque's as same engines right, but I dont know anything about them...

pg 2889 of the freelander 2 repair manual & wiring diagrams pdf which is available some where on here.

C1 Low SAPS if DPF and C3 if no DPF right?

C1 for DPF, C3 for no DPF, correct. Use 5w30 full synthetic, although I've been trying 5w40 to help reduce valve train wear.
I use 75w90 GL5 synthetic gear oil for diff and PTU, instead of what LR recommends. The correct fluid for the Haldex is a must, but I believe the fluids are different between Gen3 and Gen4 Haldex.

Hi Nodge, been a while.

Are you able to suggest the correct type and quantity of AUTO gearbox oil for a 2013 SD4 please?

Car having all running gear fluid changed, but Im just not clear on what auto box oil to use, the amount and type.

I ordered Castrol TransMax 75w-90 GL4/GL5 for the PTU.

Also ordered 7 litres of the recommended ATF oil from Opieoils. Not sure how many I need, but if dry fill is 7 litres, at least it should be enough.
