Well people have hurt my hand so stopped the gearbox strip out but what concerns me is the linkcage is good but no noises that might lead to a problem ie clutch or gearbox seems very strange could it be an electronic problem it is a freelander 2 i do have city and guilds in electronics but could do with some leads if any help will be very much appreciated

Just no drive no clutch slip no noises will have the gearbox out today and will let you know what I find wil check the transfer box

I have taken the gearbox out and the centre of the clutch plate has been ripped out so I will change the spigot shaft bearing in the end of the crank as many years ago this was the cause also replace the dual mass flywheel clutch kit will keep you posted don't know if this is a normal fault for freelanders my partner is not a person who would treet the clutch hard

Sudden loss of drive on a manwell gearbox isn't a common topic for the FL2 from what I have seen.
