There was no wired link between the receiver at the rear and screen upfront.
Wire from camera to box at rear, that was earthed with supply from reversing light so it only worked when reverse selected.
Camera upfront had it's own supply from fuse box. that was it.
With regard to the Evoque, I have have never seen one seriously off road but I have seen them at the LandRover Experience Halewood. Appreciate it is set up to show it at it's best but they can pull off some impressive stunts.
And great on the slippy stuff !

The Evoque is as good off road as the Freelander 2, considering it is a Freelander 2 in a frilly dress. Ok the drug dealer wheels might hamper it on slippery surfaces, but on proper tyres, it'll go to much the same places as the FL2.
