Hi all can anyone help me with a battery reset on a 2010 FL2 please ?

I've recently replaced the battery with a new one and still having trouble starting on cold mornings.
Someone advised to reset the battery in diagnostic's ??

Make sure all the battery cables are tight on my 2007 some of the cables have extra nuts that were loose I tighten them up and the problem went away for me

Is the starting issue long crank times or slow turning over/ battery flat.
I think the battery reset alters how much it is charged, so should still be charged just maybe not to the new batterys capacity.
