Hi all.
I am about to do an Engine Oil change on my 2009 FR2, also Fuel Filter and Air Filter, I would like to be able to do an Auto Gearbox change but I have never done one, I do not have hydraulic ramps, I work on my home drive, can anybody please tell me if its possible to do the Gearbox oil change or do I need specialised tools, If I have to have it done in a garage, has anybody had it done and roughly how much does it cost.
Thanks All.

No special tools needed, other than to get the plugs out.
It's a reasonably simple case of draining out some old (only about 40% comes out), then filling with the same amount of fresh fluid.

The filler plug can be quite tight.

T55 (iirc) bit needed for it.

Level needs to be checked at 60 degrees C

Change my Auto box oil a few days ago, after following those whom went before me, link below, will do a write up of my own on a thread when i can for now a few photos.

Make sure you have the correct oil my SD4 2014 required the oil below, also get the O-ring and alloy washer.

Clean thoroughly round the filler plug and make sure you can undo it, maybe best a few days or a week before just in case you need a new plug, sometimes they can get damaged trying to undo them.

drained about 1ltr.

Now remove the drain plug with the level incorporated tube, be careful because has the plug is removed oil will drain out of the tube right away and it can get messy, so have the container ready again.

Measure how much you have removed in my case it was 3.7ltr

So i know how much to put back in has I'm doing the oil change in stages so not to upset the gearbox which i have heard stories of if all the oil is changed in one go which is a different way altogether, the link will explain.

New oil added 1ltr at a time, and level checked at 60c
