Hi all.
Recently purchased a freelander 2 which I love.
However I can’t seem to set the clock on the dashboard. I can set the clock on the radio, but the dashboard clock shows ::-::
Can anyone shed any light as to how I resolve this

Thanks

Try a hard reset. The clock dash takes its time data from the audio system. It's possible the time data has got corrupted. These sort of issues can crop up if the vehicle systems aren't allowed to boot up before allowing it to start.

Thank you for the reply. Being a newbie FL2 owner, how do I do a hard reset ?? Sorry for my muppetry

No apology needed.
Once reset, make sure you allow the system to boot on the dash, before allowing it to start. Doing this avoids all sorts of electronic issues with this vehicle.

Unfortunately the hard reset didn’t do the trick. Still have the proverbial::-:: on the dashboard

Hi guys
Sorted!! To resolve setting the dashboard clock. When the radio clock has been set. Don’t push the OK button as the book says. Instead depress the right hand knob/dial twice and voila !!!

Well done.
You will also need to reset the windows or one touch up and down doesn't work. Instructions for that are in the owners handbook.
