I am trying to diagnose starting problem on my 2003 td4.
it’s a bit random and seems to be weather dependent. It will start with easy start.
Anyway I have done low pressure fuel pump and filter. Removed and cleaned injectors. Replaced glow plugs. Not made any difference.
So looking at voltage on cam sensor. With ignition on its 11.82v. Engine running it only drops to 11.6 ish. I think that indicates sensor might be dodgy. If I unplug completely the engine will not start at all so it’s clearly working to some extent.
Any thoughts?
