Haha. Not wanting to be a party pooper, but on this occasion I think I'll pass on being the guinea pig.They will fit. But the alignment will be out, and I believe they aren't as strong as the td4 ones.

Cheers Nodge68. The lighter spring would make sense. Given I'd have to switch the springs over it seems rather pointless by a 2nd hand pair off a petrol engine.The front shocks are the same but the 1.8 has a spring that is designed for the lighter engine. However there is also a difference between pre and post 2000 model years too. The rear shocks and springs are the same, regardless of year or engine fitted.
Only in LR catalog. Got monroe in L-series, those are the same for all model range, Just difference in springsdifference between pre and post 2000 model years too
