Well, took the boot panels off to locate the control module (which was not even fixed in place?).
It was very dusty, stuck in there for 15 years in a very dusty environment.
Had a quick inspection and blew out all of the dust and refitted.
Now I hear a very faint beep when I engage reverse and get near the sensors so I guess it is working but needs a new beeper thing.
Ebay time...
Where is the bleeper located please

Just take the rear bumper off. It's a 15 minute job that doesn't carry a risk of damaging the paint if the drill slips. ;)
Might be doing this myself. Taking the bumper off will be easier for me as that has been recently removed and refitted. My sensors were working g(IIRC) on reassembly or maybe the long ‘Beep’ when engaging reverse has fooled me into thinking they were. They were definitely working prior to strip down so this is the next job I need to sort. ‘Clicking’ sensors? Never heard of that so now looking for the method to find the non working sensors…

If you have good hearing, the putting an ear close to each sensor in turn you should hear them clicking softly, however not everyone can hear it. Alternatively a suitable diagnostic reader can get the codes from the parking sensor module, which will normally tell you what sensor is to blame.

Thanks Nodge. I have a Toughbook Diagnostic set up running Delphi software.. think it will suffice they main issue is the ‘user’ as I am still learning how to use it. Bled my TEVES system last week a leap into the future for me. My hearing is still pretty good so will have a listen first… will report back when I find out what’s what…
