I've had the fobs tested and they are sending a signal. So it's my car that's not allowing them to program. The alternator died and so did the battery, so it was left dead for a month or so. Had new alternator and battery. Car runs but can't use fobs. Any advice please

With our Freelander 1 at the time we set the fob close to the driver door locked and press 5 times. This should reset the system. Hopefully all the door locks will open and press close once to lock it again.

Tried all this. Had the car plugged into 3 different programers now and cannot get the fobs to work. The fobs are sending a signal, I've had them tested, it's the car that's not receiving the signal. Is there something that can be replaced in the car?

The fob radio receiver is under the dash top cowling, and is known to fail on occasion.
The car can't forget fobs because the battery, alternator, or anything else has failed, unless you changed the CCU, which stores to fob code.
