Hi I have an early 2.0 DI s reg freelander, it's been sitting so I've just started to sort out the front brakes, but the front disc guards have rotten away. I'm probably selling it soon so I don't want to spend that much money on it. Has anyone got a decent pair or know where I can get some cheapish? Thanks in advance.

Lots just remove the remains I believe.

Do they and just leave nothing there? I wasn't sure if not guard was an mot failure.

Splash shields aren't part of the MOT. Many high performance cars don't have them fitted from the factory.

Hi all that's brilliant off comes the remains and I can get the brakes sorted. Thank you all for your help

Cool, lots of people can't tell the difference between L Series Freelander and the Bugatti Veyron....

Once you've removed the splash shields it will be even more difficult to tell them apart
