Hi. I'm having a bit of a problem with my freelander it's a 1.8 se 2004.
I've owned it for around 2 months now and have done quite a bit of work on her inc vcu and a full service. I'm having an issue pulling away in 1st and reverse gear. It judders in either gear from a standstill it's as if I'm not giving it enough revs. This doesn't happen all the time though (drove it this morning and it was fine) it also doesn't matter whether it's hot or cold when it judders. I've replaced the slave and clutch master cylinder and bracket but this hasn't helped.
I'm wondering whether it's a clutch or fly wheel issue from what I have read on the net
When it was serviced last week it had a code in the ecu showing fault with the crank sensor this was cleared and the mechanic said see how you get on with it as it may be ok. Would a faulty crank sensor effect this or not?
Thanks again
Dave
