Hi,

I have a Freelander 2 2014 with both passenger and driver heated seats not working. I’ve replaced the fuses and have check under both seats to make sure nothing is disconnected but still wont work. I’ve read that the next point of call would be to check the heated seats relay, but being honest I haven’t got the first clue as to where that would be in the car.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The seats are controlled by the HVAC system, so it's best to get any codes read from that, before going further.

Thanks for the heads up. Don’t suppose anybody has a code reader in the Giildford area I could use to get the codes?

looking online and they’re about £300 -£400 to buy.

The Icarsoft I930 is under £100, and covers most code reading duties on the FL2.

Hi paul
I have exactly the same problem on my 2010 hse. Did you manage to fix it
The only difference is we had a new battery fitted and I'm wondering if there is something in the ECU that is stopping them working
