In general do these on line thingies actually do any good and does anyone pay a blind bit of notice.

I'm all for the free road tax thing but probably easier to nail a jelly to the ceiling
 
Might as well give it a go, it takes 30 secs to fill out a form. Less if you have an autofill button on your browser, its not much different to tying on here is it ?
 
If its on the Govt site then i believe it needs 20 thousand signatures and it is then law that it has to be raised and debated in the Houses of Parliament.

I think if you get a certain amount of signatures (100,000 I think) it has to be discussed in the house of commons.
 
The wording's wrong. It was originally introduced as a rolling 25 year exemption but almost the first thing labour did when they got in was to kill the rolling bit.

Unfortunately they all seem to want to get old vehicles off the road so I doubt it'll get anywhere.
 
nah i think it's fine as it is... all my vehicles qualify for free tax. :D
