hi all,

So i have just replaced my fuel pressure regulator and now I've noticed my pump is noisy......could this be that maybe the pressure regulator hasn't been tightened enough or any other suggestions?

Hi, Have you purged the air out of the system, if not that's probably what your hearing.

You do not say if the engine is running or not?

Hi there,

Thanks for reply, yes the noise is with engine running and not running.

How do I purge the system?

Hi @spurs



As I remember it........

Ignition on to pos 2, pump the throttle 5 times , the EML light should come on and you will hear the pump running, it will cycle over about 5 minutes, let it do its thing then try and start it.
