Has anyone found a spray paint finish that is similar to the foundry finish on the interior trim in the L322? I want to re-paint the rear trim on the centre console o match the rest as closely as possible.

Looking online it appears that the Tamiya XF-56 is a good match but it is only available in small pots.

Hi glen,
just type in foundry grey spray paint on ebay.
there's someone I think paints 4 u who are selling it. It's 19.99 a tin.

Hello again Greg.
The link above was for the paints 4U product, so I have ordered it from them and it should be here tomorrow.
Are you going for high gloss black?

Yes, I've taken one of the foundry grey trims off the rear door, and going to see what sort of finish I can achieve.
I'm starting with a good plastic primer coat then gloss black followed by 3 or 4 coats of lacquer, wet and dry in between. See how it goes, my thinking is if it doesn't work out, I haven't really lost anything, just have to replace a small piece of trim.
good luck with yours.
greg.
