Hi all
There was a discusion recently about "Rave cd's" for the Discovery , I have found a place to down load from . You need to install "Utorrent" ( use Google to find) and then change the search from "Minova" to "My bittorrent" by clicking next to the search box on the magnifying glass and then do a search for TIS one of the resultant list will be "Rangerover" download this one it covers defender All Range Rovers Disco Tdi's and V8's ,Shelander !. It takes about 48 hrs to down load but the program is self continuing if you turn off your computer and if you are on broadband there is no cost , the file is just over a gigabite in size.
There is one down side you have to download to the computer that you want to use the program in , if you try to copy it to disc the software corrupts to stop you .
Regards Harddrive

Great as long as I can get a copy for disco 1 93 then I will try the download,

thanks again
regards
Dave

u can also download all the rave CDs here:

The Green Oval - Downloads | Land Rover Data

the cds DO NOT cover 200 TDi's, only 300 TDi's.

If u own a pre 95' V8 the engine manual is relevant but wiring and bodywork stuff isnt ;)

U will need to burn the files to CD as they are in image format, details are on the download page

Hehe. Why are they called rave files?

Is their a defender rave file for download?

Also, if tge file is an iso and it is bambuzzling you, just download a free trial of poweriso. It will open the file as if it were a zip file.

That's all these are really, zip files on steriods.

As I said I will post out 6 sets of discs.... ( specify exactly what you require)

From then on circulation is up to yourselves

When you say circulation aren't these CD's copyrighted?

Also, I downloaded the defender rave, so I can plan out my 90 ( I haven't actually bought :D) and stupid windows vista , low and behold, makes adobe reader go all messed up. I'll have to install the Acrobat 4 that the rave app is trying to install.

oh well. Does the rave have like exploded diagrams?

Thanks

A little bit of internal computer trickery is required here. I have Adobe Reader v8 on my new M90, but I can still use the Rave CD's. How? Down to Windows Registry and LastVersionRun entry. Pop in your RAVE disk (disable Autoplay). Navigate to the Adobe Reader folder and manually launch the Acroread32.exe (in \Acrobat4\Reader) close it down then run Rave.exe

;)

As I am not willing to circulate any discs, I cant see that I might infringe any copyrights, I merely offered to forward on something I obtained on ebay a couple of years ago, some resourceful soul seized the opportunity & any discs I had have been forwarded on to him/ her.
Anyone wishing to get themselves a proper copy of any manual should either contact Brown & Gammons or Rimmer Brothers.
