Firstly, I'm grateful that this forum exists, and i understand that a lot of effort will have gone into its maintenance in the past.

...but its got to be one of the most frustrating forums, interface wise, that i ever use!

Even these two things where different, it would make it more usable -

Im pretty certain that the software behind is the same as the uk mig welding forum uses -

(a forum that, i suspect, may landrover owners are familiar with!)

...however, over there things work somewhat more smoothly.


To re-iterate, beggars cant be choosers. I contribute nothing to this forum, other than, probably, answering more queries than i create, and im certain i dont have the skill to run the forum.

So, really, im just asking... pleading, maybe... If only the sticky banner....

You can get notifications for most things .. Look at your Name in the top right, next to the banner, click the arrow to the left of it, go to Preferences and Alert preferences, set what you want between them and job's a good 'un ..
