Look on the bay of E. Not the classifieds, the auctions. Series 2a's/3's no MOT or tax are going for between £350-£500 depending on condition/ work needing to be done/yadda yadda.
the only way you will get anywhere close to £1500 for it would be to break it
So i gather from this landyzone site, technically landrover series 3's are a pile of crap that aint worth a carrot and even if you spend money on restoring them, according to you lot its still only worth £500 go figure any way im sure someone will be interested and appreciate the hard work that has already gone into this landy which will save them alot of effort.

Its a pleasure to welcome someone onto the site who obviously has just signed up to flog some overpriced series. Its worth 750 on a good day even if you have done all that work. Not rude just realistic. I have 5 series vehicles and they aren't worth selling in the current economic times. You will take a loss.

It's not personal... But FFS you can buy a sorted RRC for the kind of money you're on about.
I've been looking at series Landy's for a month or so now, so I'm fairly confident that what I'm saying is accurate.
Unfortunatly, what you have spent on your Landy has very little bearing on what it's worth as a whole vehicle.
