Almost finished fitting mine.

Not a nice job at all. I decided to go the whole hog and drill out all spot welds and replace both footwells complete. Replacement panels from Paddocks were OK but certainly not a perfect fit. I think I counted about 65 spot welds on each footwell.

Other problem is that the replacement panels are only single skin whereas the originals are much more solid pressed parts with a double skin. I'm planning to bend up a 2nd skin for the inside and plug weld it in for rigidity. It is especially noticable on the drivers side round by the pedal apertures.

It is of course much easier to repair sections rather than the whole thing.

I'd also recommend doing the bulkhead lower bracket at the same time. Bound to be knackered.
