you could try draining it, getting it dry, then applying some chemical metal.

is almost the very top runner so the water level is below it at the moment is chemical metal available from halfrauds or somewhere like that

pinch and fold with some pliers? i did this with success on my last rad... but the whole lot was ****ed so i replaced it!

I thought u could solder aluminium? Sure we used to use aluminium wire when I worked for BT n we used to solder that (sometimes)

You could pinch it like griff said , then bung some rad weld in it for the time being :D

try K-SEAL RADIATOR HEAD GASKET STOP LEAK this is very very good cost about £10 for a 1/6 of a litre

Remind me Never to buy anything of you then mate  :D .
heheee i was about ta sell it an i had a pipe split on me,fixed that and found it was pressurisin the system, i cnut be arsed tekin heads off wen it was goin up for sale so scratched me head abit an ended up gerin k-seal i lerrit go cheap thou

I once bought a calibra that was sold cheap because it had a leeky heater matrix and rad, which Vauxhaull dealers had quoted £440 to repair. I fixed it perminently with a bottle of rad weld.

radweld made my cereal packet water pump gasket seal. Dropped it ingot the engine hot, it never lost water again!

Until i hydraulic locked it off road... Doh... That was a good few thousand miles after though.
