Hi, my mates Freelander folding mirrors are failing to fold and unfold intermittently. He says there is a clicking noise when they try to operate them.

Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

hi try folding them out or in opposite to which postion they are in and then try again

They are worn out, if they jump along with the clicking its time to replace.

Wasn't there a fix someone mentioned a few months ago where something falls out of place inside the motor setup?

My mate passes on his thanks. It worked a treat he said.

hi glad it worked I wanted folding mirrors on mine as it did not have them LR quoted £800 for the wiring alone i made a wiring my self for about £8 including the switch and fuses and then got the electric folding mirrors of fleabay and bingo it works a treat
