Mongo question time. I'm going to be buying a folding side step for my passenger side but before I do I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it will still fit ok even though I have rock sliders with tree bars? Ta muchly

Can't see it folding up properly as the foot plate sits flush against the sill cover. Can't do that will the tree sliders on.

This is what I've got so my mum can get in.

Also found it useful for the pregnant sister-in-law.

I've got a 110 CSW(ish) and it works for any of the doors.

Grebby got something like that already mate but was looking for something a bit more practical and permanent.

The chain or similar does sound good MHM and cheers for the PM jacksta, twas a good idea so no **** will be taken lol. The current army truck, Man SV, has a steel cable and metal treadplate type step. If I could get something like that and bolt it through the rockslider it might do the job but ideally I'd like something that she can step up as opposed to climb up.

I have tapped 2 m10 threads into the bottom of my slider.... step simply bolts to that.... makes the slider redundant as step will be ripped off first but the good lady is only 5ft 8 and with a 16" lift the floor is waist height lol...... was toying with a knotted rope for ingress and inflatable aircraft chute to get out :)

cheers steve

Lol mine isn't quite that tall but I do need something. Gonna get a few of the heavy duty handles from mudstuff as they'll certainly help but still need a step. I think ill look into fabricating one as I said on my other thread. Got lots of ally box section but god knows how it will turn out :p
