I have a broken lens on o/s/f fog light, are the pre face lift fog lights the same as the post face lifts?
I have a 52 plate available for parts

As far as I remember, they're the same. Just in different places pre and post face lift.
There's only 1 official fog kit listed.

In what way?
To the naked eye they look the same. And when I looked at installing a set, I only found 1 official set listed.
Is it in the curvature of the lens.

The pre and post fog lamps are different.
The facelift fog lights are Ford Mondeo 2000 to 2003 fog lights iirc.
The pre facelift lights are off another Rover stable vehicle, but I can't remember which one.

Don't suppose you know if the Mondeo fog light surrounds fit the freelander do you?

No. The surrounds are unique to the facelift front end.
