I cant get my rear fog light to work. I have multimetered the connections and I am getting power without any issue, The switch is fine and when I checked for continuity on the earth side that seems ok to. I have tried different bulbs but still no go. Can anyone help, Need for MOT.

ermmmmmmmmmmm silly question but a logic 1 most vehicle fog lights only work when head lights on but not on full beam

If you have power to the bulb, and earth from the bulb, it must be a bulb problem.

Chack that the bulb is actually making contact when you twist it in. I bought a new fog lamp last year and I had to bend a piece of it out to complete the circuit

The inside of the metal sleeve of the bulb holder can get corroded and prevent the bulb making a good connection. Clean the inside of the sleeve with some wire wool. Watch out for crap left behind as will make rust marks. Dont use abrasive paper as it will remove all the anodising from the bulb holder and you'll be cleaning it all the time afterwards as it will corrode much faster.
