Well the Series IIA will be arriving as soon as I can find somewhere to rent me a car trailer thingy at a reasonable cost. So now what do I do with the Disco 300TDI.... do I keep it (with a view to reuse what I can from it) or flog it to get the cash to work on the IIA?

Your gonna need a reliable car to drive to the parts store when your Series IIa starts acting like a Series IIa. Keep the disco, at least until your very comfortable with the IIa

keep it ! you can never have too many landys:D and plus it will feel soooo comfortable and bouncy after driving the series;)

Keep them both for a while and use the 300tdi as a parts doner.
Ps
The cheepest way i have found of moving a landy is not to rent a trailer but to call one of them guys that advitise "Cash payed for old cars" and get them to move it for you.
Cost me £60 notes to move a series 3 110 40 miles.
