On the way to work yesterday the oil pressure light kept flickering. Pulled over and checked oil level. The oil level was fine so changed to a clean set of undies. Engine sounds normal, even on start up, but problem is still persisting today. What are the checks I need to do and what order do I need to check them in to locate the cause?

Dodgy sensor, or loose bolt on crank pulley.

+1 on the dodgy sensor .... ask me how I know  :mad::mad: ..... and don't leave it too long cos when they burst, the engine bay gets a "lovely" anti corrosive treatment :D - you can guess how I know this too :)
