If the LED's are aftermarket, unless they are CAN bus compatible they are not suitable for the L322.

Hi datatek,my back lights are 2010 lights how do you tell if they are aftermarket,I also have halo lights connected to my front lights, when I start the car they do a dance,i.e. One side then the other for a wee while.cheers pat

Some low quality LED drivers can over heat when installed in a confined space, hence the led bulb starts to flash after a while, so either go for a better better quality but more expensive bulb, fit reduced power bulbs or reinstall normal tungsten bulbs... as recommended above.
You could always update the lamp units to the manufactures later LED unit if they are available.

I'd stick to standard bulbs.
Philips do led's, not cheap but If thats what your after they're worth the extra pounds:cool:.

Hi lads,I never put the lights on the car,the main front beam is still xenon, the side light wires have been cut so dosent work now,it has been replaced now with the angel eyes halo lights, the back lights have two resistor boxes joined to them they look like original rr lights ,I've had the car for two years now it is only recently that I have started getting problems with the lights,so that is why iam wondering what has happened for this to happen, and why lose the indicators on the dash, cheers pat

Wow, someone has been having fun meffing things up on your bus, maybe the previous mods are starting to mess with the cars systems and Ecu's. It's time to put right what's been done wrong before you bought it. If put back to standard its a better start point to ruling problems out or replace like for like and see how you get on. Leds are a bit funny and most of our RRs weren't equipped to deal with them. Older more simpler cars don't have issues but Ecu's don't do none standard. ;)

Most have the standard lighting setup on their L322 hence the lack of any suggestions as yet to a remedy to your specific issue..... but not to give up, I'm sure one of the gurus might come along with some ideas shortly

The front led will do a little dance from side to side as the light check module does its check (even does it if you add a resistor) only way to stop it seems to be switch check off in lcm.

Hi kds, your right about the dance I have been into the lcm and turned the hot and cold monitoring off,but iam still getting the dance on front lights am I missing something else to turn off, cheers pat

Now that I dont know, I put the resisters in and it still does it and just have`nt bothered to go into the lcm to switch side light monitoring off, I used navcoder to switch off rear number plate monitor when I did the bmw x5 reverse camera and led bulb thing and that worked out ok no more bong.

The LCM bulb tests are based on the slow response times of tungsten filament bulbs, LED's react in microseconds so will switch on/off with the test procedure.
