Grimmer

THE Winner
Just a quick one chaps and chapesses, my diff light started flickering on and off on my way into work:confused: (300tdi 110), never done this before, I've tried putting it into difflock driving a short way, taking it out, but it still carried on flickering intermittently:confused: I know it's not in difflock, so can we assume that it's just a dodgy switch which can be ordered and fitted at my leisure, or is there another possible explanation which may cause some damage somewhere:confused::confused:
As ever I await your words of wisdom and abuse:p:p

29 views and not even 1 'Search FFS':eek::eek: Seriously:confused: tiz going downhill this place I tell ya:lol::lol:

mine used to do it, I assume dodgy switch, in fact the other day it was in diff lock, light was on then went off but was still in!!

Aye, thats my thinking (dodgy switch), because it's definitely not in diff lock, think I'll just get myself a switch, fit it when I get chance, and just ignore the flickering until then;);):D

Loose connection or the switch might be on it's way out.

Search FFS :) :) :)

Have you tried Googling it? ;) ;) ;)

Well Grimms, have you fixed it yet???:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Nope, been on nights, this is my first night off for over a week, so I've got my feet up infront of the log burner with a beer. I'm pretty sure it's nothing to worry about and just a dodgy switch, I'll order a new switch I think and just fix it when I get round to it;);)

Well it appears the Fender fairies have been working their magic and my diff light has fixed itself, it's not flickered for 3 days now:cool::cool::cool::cool:

And yes, it does still work:p:lol:

The weather has been warmer, maybe it was sticking and giving false reading as 'on'...
