Hi, I'm hoping someone can give me some clues as to what might be up with my RR Sport First Edition Supercharged? The most noticable is the LCD display for mileage etc. flickers, more so when cold. It's the back light of this display that flickers not the LCD digits and I'm pretty sure the other illumination lights flicker at the same time.
Occasionaly the red airbag light comes on, the pattern to this is when the flickering is very noticable the airbag light comes on. If it comes on, I switch off, restart and the light goes off. If the flickering isn't that noticable the airbag light doesn't come on?
I did have numerous electrical gremlins of parking sensors not working, special programs disabled, airbag light on etc. which were cured when I changed the battery. Obviously the usual Range Rover issue of not enough volts to power all the over sensitive circuits!
So, I'm left with this flickering issue which is annoying, my thoughts are a bad earth somewhere or alternator?
Any suggestions welcomed :)

If you are having lots of strange faults, I'd go for connections or the alternator with a duff diode in the diode pack. Can only really be seen with an oscilloscope.
