I have a 2003 l322 range rover.
This morning I had a flat battery which seems to happen every couple of weeks when weather is really cold . Well I stuck a charger on and used the mrs car and went to work about 3 hours later she rang me saying there was a funny noise coming from the range rover so she disconnected the charger and it was still making a funny noise. When I got home from work it was still making a noise which sounds like a knackerd horn going off but not loud and its coming from the washer bottle area,if I put my hand on it I can feel a vibration from it and its louder if I stick my ear on the washer bottle filler neck ,it's not the washer motor stuck on either . When I connected it to another car to jump start it got louder as its drained the battery ,when it started its still making a noise and after left running for half an hour I can stop and start the car with out jumping it but the noise is still there ,I have had to disconnect the battery as its just going to die.
Anyone got any suggestions as I am stumped.

do yu have the EKA code?
No EKA on the L322.....

My thoughts are with a stuck headlamp wiper motor...common fail on the L32 2and will cause the batter yto die quickly....

try taking thehead lamp wiper blade off and allow the haead lamp wiper motor to cylce til it stops then put the blade back on....

A search on here will pull many threads about it!

Now we all know why he's called the Saint ,both motors seem to be seized so I just pulled the fuse and the buzzing has stopped . Will charge over night and take a spare battery and leads in boot for awhile just in case . Thanks again saint
