So after a little puddle jumping in Wiltshire my battery light came on, had to drive home with very little battery and no charging, got more or less home before the dash went blank and indicators stopped, still had rear and brake lights so wasn’t a drama.
Easy enough to diagnose a faulty alternator, have now changed this and all good except my mileage is now flashing.
I have read that this is due to a mileage discrepancy which understandably will be due to the 3-400 yards I drove after the dash went blank.
Is there a way to clear this issue without the need for Nanocom? I have a friend with Hawkeye but won’t be seeing him for a while with the new lockdown regulations.

No way to fix that without one of those tools, any of them can do it, you need to disable the odometer error warning
