Hello, I have a 1973 Range Rover Classic. All of my indicators light up but don’t flash. I’ve got the dash out but can only find one flasher unit, which is for the hazards. This clicks but doesn’t operate the lights, I’ve changed it for a new one, no difference. I can’t find the other flasher unit for the indicators, but as I said they do light up suggesting an operative circuit. I’ve found a four pin three wire unit under the dash that I don’t know what it does, see pictures, can anyone help my issues. I have been restoring the car but have never had it on the road, I hope to run it this summer with your help, thanks

Welcome to Landy Zone. The photo's are not clear on my tablet but that looks like it could be a flasher unit. The workshop manual would provide a definitive answer.
I'll PM you with my email address, then if you send me the photo's or some better ones as attachments, I may be able to identify the unit.

Yes that's the indicator & hazard relay combined. Wiring goes via either the indicator stalk for left or right, or the hazard switch for all bulbs. See attached RAVE extract.

Thanks for replying to me.
Can you send your email address again please. I opened it up then opened your first message. When I went back, it wouldn’t open up again. Alternatively, you can send a brief message to my ema
Thanks Phil

BTW, the diagrams I sent are for the 1995 version. Not certain the early Classic are the same, but it's likely.

Yes I noticed that it was 1995 (22 years later than mine), but from what I’ve read and seen in the workshop manual wiring diagram the early classic has 2 x flasher units. And the one I’ve found is clicking when the hazards are turned on, but the lights aren’t flashing, thanks

Take it you're using standard bulbs, not LEDs?
These might help:
