Hello,

I’ve had my fl2 for around 2 years now and love it! It’s done 106k miles and now 10 years old. It’s due a service and I’m wondering what I should be changing and servicing this year please. I heard some things should be changed at 10 year mark but unsure of what.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks

A 2014 Freelander needs servicing every 6k miles or 6 months, 12k or 12 months, 24k or 24 months, and 72k or 6 years, or 150k or 10 years, depending on what item needs servicing.
Which service is it due, and what has been missed?

My 2014 is 10yrs old in June and it has had all it's Landrover services, even so i have done all the fluids, engine oil & filter, diff oil, Haldex and filter oil, PTU oil, Auto box oil is left to do now the weather is warming up, belts will also be done about end of May, along with water pump and OAT fluid, brake fluid, Fuel filter is a must after two years, most these were done is September but will be renewed over the next month or so i like to change my engine oil every six months no mater how many miles i have done.

I also added new front and rear brake discs and pads,

I should imagine all the above would need doing on yours if not done in the last two years you have owned it.

As above which i have already stated timing belts, and water pump change for sure unless it was done in the last year or so.

Pop your Vin number into the link below it should bring up your service record if done by LandRover.
