Not a clue, but i could do with one for mine.

The dog is scratching the top of my bumper, let me know if you find out`

Seriously no one on here knows of anybody handy with chequer plate?!?!

I want it cos of the dogs too :(

eBay's your friend!

Buy a cheapy jigsaw, a sheet of alloy chequer plate as wide of your boot, a mild hand file, and a hand riveting gun for boshing it on! Go nuts!

Seriously though if you can't find a pre-fab one it would be relatively easy to measure up, cut + fit a chequer plate one off. The Defender boys cover their trattors in it!

Iv emailed a site that to a lot of chequer plate stuff for defenders but not had a reply :(

Im a girl, and whilst handy a lot of things I draw the line at jigsawing in a semi straight line!

Over a period of 2 years my 50kg German Shepherd left loads of marks / scratches on the rear bumper / sill. :(

Then I discovered an exterior plastic restorer spray from Sonax. :D

Hey presto, a quick spray, a wipe with a paper towel and it was as good as new. Scratches just disappear as well as all the doggy marks on the inside of the rear door. :D

I spray the bumper regularly now and occasionally do all the plastic mouldings especially the mirror backs which become badly faded with the sun.

If you cant find Sonax use any interior dashboard / cockpit spray instead - much cheaper and less work, than any chequerplate job. ;)

But but but I like the chequer plate look!

Any one know of anyone handy with the stuff in E Yorks??

Hi all. I have access to a CNC laser machine and a CNC pressbrake.

If anybody wants anything producing in tread plate , or any material for that matter , just let me know and I'll cost it up for you.

All that i would need is a basic drawing with the dimensions of what you require.
