Turbo hoses are all relatively new, replaced few months ago, including the vacuum hoses. I’ve never topped up the brake fluid in 11 months of ownership so I don’t think it’s leaking, I’m also fairly sure that leak was visible last year after it had some welding done although not as bad as now, double checked the brakes no spongy pedal or issues I can tell however to be on the safe side I have booked it in for a brake check. The only other thing I can think is maybe a small leak in the fuel tank? Don’t really want to have to drop the fuel tank to check, maybe I’m being daft but where do the fuel lines from the filter and pump in the rear arch to the hp pump in the engine bay sit? I’m thinking maybe slight leak in one of them and then when it pools it runs down?

Where I’ve circled is where I find little surface droplets

A quick easy check, seeing as it droplets at the rear, so to speak!! Fold rear seat, lift carpet and remove 6 or so screws holding the disc shaped cover over the fueltank sender.
The seal on this can leak and then it runs down to where you have highlighted.
We will solve this mystery

would there be fuel around the sender locking ring? I’ve had that cover off recently and it was all dry although I haven’t attempted to remove the sender and seal as I assumed I’d see fuel around it if it was leaking

Yes, if it leaks it sits around the sender in the tank recess.
Not that then!!

Never seen a tank leak, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Can you collect some drips and see if you can identify it???

Right, been out and took more pics, sods law that it was dry today… however I found some other parts that are damp with same “fluid” I’m starting to think it actually is water but no idea where it’s getting in if that’s the case. The usual suspect fish tank is dry and surprisingly is the least rusted part of the rear

Have you checked to see if there is any sign of dampness in the boot floor cubby?
The boot door seal is the normal place where water gets in, and slowly soaks the carpet, working its way forwards towards the front.

Yeah it’s all dry, since fixing the seals the only place I get pooled water now is where I’ve circled on the pic, as you can see there’s a bit of water there now, but it’s been relatively dry for the past week only a small bit of rain during the night
