Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I have bought some second hand good condition sidesteps for my Tangey cause the wifes a bit tiny and can't get in it.

Now the problem: They have the brackets but it looks as though some sort of threaded insert has to go into the chasis holes as there is nothing there at present.

Does anyone know where I can get these? they look to be about 12mm.
