I am the proud new owner of a 1996 300 series Disco.

I would have liked one with roof rails, but chose one where the boot floor didn't look like swiss cheese instead.

I've seen that the rails are available on e-bay, but wondered how easy are the to fit, where there have been none before?

I am hoping that if i drop the headlining, the braces underneath will be there, and I just have to drill back up, but am wondering if this will be the case, or is it a completely different roof?

The roofs are the same apart holes. The roof bows are the same and welded in the same place.

People usually want to take off the roof rails not put them on. This is how you take them off, it will give you a clue: http://www.discoweb.org/roofrails/index.htm
