I'm fitting +5" shocks to my 90 over the weekend, I had +2" with not needing to change my brake lines. I realise now that's I'm fitting shocks with longer travel I will need longer lines. Does anyone know what size I should fit as all the kits I've seen are +2" surely these wil not be long enough?

+5" Shirly?? Make some longer rigid pipes ones up" and move the bracket down then fit +2" flexi's

Don't call me shirly....

Not seen any 5" ones I shall inquire. How would I go about movin the bracket?

Moving the bracket is simply a case of cutting it off and welding it on lower down or making a drop bracket for it. then buy some metal brake pipe and remake the new lines long enuff to reach the noo bracket. OR ya could try a Custom Motorbike shop and get them to make some longer flexi's for you. When ya extending the front forks by upto 4ft overstock. ya need to be able to make ya own brake lines.

I'm sure you can have brake cables made up to your own spec. Not sure how much it would cost, but probably not much more than a normal set. Maybe email Goodridge or I think another company is Earls. I had some made for a truck I'm rebuilding.

I'd say to measure your current ones and add 5 inches. Or as Redhand says, make something up with ridged pipe to close the gap.

so how much upward travel have you lost now? is it all Droop?

I ended up buying some earls hose and the appropriate ends and making them to suit, only needs a couple of spanners but watch out for the braiding it hurts!

try rally design or exact engineering,

Buy your own ends and a long length of hose and make your own...

if you need help i can guide you through as this is what i do for a job but im in doncaster so not alot of use to you

Ive got +5 on the rear of mine and whilst on the lift at work noticed the limiting factor to wheel droop is the trailing arm bushes and the a frame bush.
Mines got the relocated top shock mounts further forward than std
Std brakes line was nowheres near straight never mind stretched

check its not your propshaft its easily forgotton about and can limit articulation also

Never thought of that, i assume you mean the yokes locking up as opposed the the sliding section?
