Well looking at the parts on Rimmers site. There are two different sensors up to 96 then 97 on. But only one brass sleeve size and what looks like a plastic adaptor. Mine is a 99 and does not have adaptors, so either the hole size changed in the hub or the sensor size changed. There are single sensors and double sensors. So would think the double ones are for TC and the single ones just for ABS. Don't really know.

i think this seems to be the case,as ive only ever seen one size sensor,so the hubs must be different(no idea why)

do the sensors require much force to push alll the way in?

They are greased up in the bore and on the sensor and pushed in. A stiff push fit.

Code reader not connecting could be down to obd socket needs cleaning, why are you changing sensors anyway do we know?

I had that problem of not being able to connect, found the cause was a white plug behind the kick panel on the right hand side of the drivers foot well was badly corroded, it also for some reason cured the srs light.
